We've got a venue all lined up. This year's Help Portrait event will be held in the fellowship hall of Calvary Wesleyan Church, in Bethlehem, PA.

The fellowship hall is a great space, and we have enough room to set up six studios.

This year participants will be coming to us.

We already have two photographers, but would love to have a total of six.

If you're interested please respond here, or email me at: steve@stevefebbraro.com

Thanks.

i already commented on the group page, but count me in! i'm definitely committed to this. i've been trying to plan my own group in easton, but it was getting overwhelming in my mind to plan out all the details on my own. and spending so much time planning was kind of sucking the joy out of it. i will help in any way that you need. i can handle some planning as long as i know i'm not doing it on my own. i know of a lot of photographers and people in the area that would possibly be interested in helping. i also have a good connection with the people at the cardinal camera store in the promenade shops and thought that they would be interested in helping, possibly they could do the printing. i also have some connections with the people at the easton chik-fil-a if we wanted to serve any food.

the only thing i don't have is a studio set up. i have a few constant lights but they're not very powerful. i used them for a help portrait event 2 years ago and they worked well enough, and now i have the mark II so the lower light capabilities are much better. i do have a photographer friend that'd probably be interested in helping who has an alien bee light and a huge softbox.

i will help in anyway possible to make sure that this event can happen this year. just tell me who i need to email or what i need to do. i'm really glad that i found this group. and can't wait till dec. 10!

Great Laura! Welcome aboard. The date and place are set for Dec. 10th, at Calvary Wesleyan Church, 1414 Pennsylvania Ave, Bethlehem, PA. The hours or actual shooting are from 11-3, so photogs should get there around 10. See you there. :-)

are there going to be any planning meetings or any meeting just to get all the volunteers together before the event so we can all meet each other? i think that would be a good idea, so then we're all working together and focusing on the subjects and not focusing on meeting each other.

is there anything else that you need? and i'm going to try to get my 2 or 3 other photographer friends to join us. how many photographers do you have so far?

That is a great idea. I'll be posting the date for the get together shortly.
