Anyone need a help-portrait website??

Hey there,
last year I built a pretty cool website for our local photographers and organizers to use to manage and communicate with members. This is a wordpress website w/ a customized theme installed that allows people to sign up as volunteers (photographers/ Makeup Artists/ general) and for them to communicate with each other and for the organizers to send out mass emails.

If you would like the raw files please let me know.. It does, however, require some web knowledge to get it set up and installed.

well actually we need one for Help Portrait Peru http://www.facebook.com/HelpPortraitPeru we are doing the evento for the first time and we want to get photographers and others involved in this charity work

Do you have anyone in your organization that knows anything about setting up and working with wordpress??? The site I have is REALLY easy but you would need someone to set it up for you.. If not, I might be able to set up something in the future but not immediately.

We are mobilizing and organizing Help-Portrait Myanmar. We would like to get those wordpress template files. Could you please share us? And we have some guys got web knowledge. :)

I would be happy to send them to you. I just need a couple more days to clean it up for other people to use, but once I do, it will be super easy to install. I'll create an instruction page too.

Hey everyone I was just popping in to let you know i haven't forgotten. I just finished up the template. Since so many people were interested in it I wanted to make it as mistake proof as possible. I am now simply tidying up some little issues and writing the instructions.

The template I am using requires the use of a few plugins which I will list.

In the mean time, if you haven't already - this is a wordpress template so you will need to have wordpress installed on your hosting account. The good news is that MOST hosts have a one click install of wordpress available. If you can't find it simply call them and ask for a one-click install of wordpress.

If you do not have hosting yet, I would recommend THIS HOST. I am a web developer and that is the host I set almost all of my clients up with. They have the one click wordpress install and they are very inexpensive. You can sign up for 12 months at $6.95/month.. When you sign up you also get a free domain name - so it's a really good deal.

I am ALWAYS on skype so if you need help please don't hesitate to get me on there. My name is LinzardB - send me a contact notification and let me know you're from HP.

Again - this is a wordpress theme with instructions on how to turn wordpress into a volunteer signup system as well. This website could work as a simple information site or a full fledged sign up system.

Again, you will need a basic knowledge of website stuff, a hosting account, and a domain. I can definitely walk you through buying a host and getting wordpress installed if you need it though. Contact me on skype under LinzardB

unpack the files and find the readme.rtf file - those are your instructions.

Thanks so much.  This has saved me so much time. Took me a bit of tinkering to figure out how things work in the widgets, but I'm making a lot of progress in my first hour.  Awesome of you to share all of this!
