About this event

Ubuntu Help-Portrait shoot for primary school children in Orange Farm.

This will be a portrait event during the school day and school teachers will be on hand to assist with and supervise the children.

520 children in total:

  • 450 primary school children
  • 70 Grade R pre-school children.

Photogs: up to 10

Nathalie - it's the traffic I'm dreading as well.  LOL  How far is the Rosebank Gautrain Station from there.  It might be easiest for me to catch that to Rosebank and take it from there. :D

@Michelle: we are the only car going and we have to leave home (Bryanston) at 6am already to pick up Stanley's daughter Rebecca in Olivedale and then make our way to Hyde Park in the traffic. Since we have to leave at the crack of dawn it might be a bit too early for you which is why we are suggesting you meet us in Hyde Park. It's very near the mall and very easy to find and there is secure parking as well. I hope that will be doable for you. Please give me a shout if it's a problem. My cell 0722775532.

Hi All! We are travelling back from Swaziland - sorry for not replying to you all sooner.
@Karin v d Mescht: if you still want to go you can meet up with us at the Grassmere Toll Plaza and then follow us in to Orange Farm.
@Michelle: Can you drive through to Karen Lim's place in Hyde Park (will sms proper address) and then we'll pick you and her up and all go in Stanley's car. To make sure that we'll be done by 12h00 we want to please pick you both up at 7h00 (Stanley says "NOT Swazi Time"!) Would that work for both of you?

Where is everyone meeting? I was thinking if they all met at CODP I could go there and met up with everyone and sort out the travel arrangements?
