Thanks, Pol!
If anyone else from the group wants to collaborate on post-processing, retouching or printing, I'd be happy to work with you. Just add me as a friend and send me a message or e-mail me at jd@jeffdillonphotography.com.

My DSL shoots video if no one has video gear.

I'm making sure my portable printer setup works the way I expected. I have Kirkland glossy paper and better quality Ilford Pearl, both 8.5x11 and 4x6 -- do we need anything else? (also have a paper trimmer if anyone needs to trim to 8x10) I live in Mira Mesa about 10 minutes from the house, so I can run home for anything we realize we need.

Sounds like it might be good to have someone like Andy bring a second laptop just for the initial download and review of photos while someone like me focuses on any retouching and printing on another machine.

oh man, first id like to say thanks to everyone. I had no idea that their would be such a big turn out. But lets me know there are tons of caring people int his world. Um im pretty sure there will probably be 3 to 4 people with full setups backdrops and lighting etc. I dont want to pick only a certein one, so I will just say we will choose who's equipment we are using or even a combination of equipment etc. Than also I think we have enough people that more than 1 person can take the indoor shots so everyone who brings a camera gets to take some photos and bring their style to it sorta speak. So I cant wait to see you guys there I will be there by 2 or earlier hopefully earlier, If anyone has any problems please feel free to email me: polsphoto@gmail.com or call my cell 858-345-0882 , If I dont pick up def. leave a message with ur number kuz I dont ahve good signal in some places. Thanks

Ok, I commited...

I will throw in the truck:
(2) Genesis 400WS Monolights w/stands and umbrellas (shoot through or reflected).
(2) Calumet Strobe Triggers and transmitter.
10' x 12' muslin (browns and tans colored) and stands.
42" Zipdisk (reflector)

Two light systems work, but does anyone have a hair light (on a boom perhaps)? Also no Light Meter, I always taken a few test shots to dial the lights in (I'm a Rookie :) )

Will also bring my Cams and a couple speedlites.

Looks like we are going to have a good turn out. I don't need to shoot, but when I do I like to shoot RAW. I can turn them around quickly in Canon Digital Photo Professional. I can bring a laptop.

Can be there at 2.
