DESCRIPTION:Since 1955, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has remained co
 mmitted to its mission -- to assure the development of the means to cu
 re and control cystic fibrosis (CF) and to improve the quality of life
  for those with the disease. Not only have we been committed, but we a
 lso have been recognized by both SmartMoney magazine and Forbes for ou
 r efficiency and innovative approach to curing this disease. Nearly 90
  cents of every dollar raised by the CF Foundation is made available f
 or research and care programs.\n\nEvery year the CF Foundation conduct
 s GREAT STRIDES, our largest national fund-raiser, at more than 500 wa
 lk sites nationwide. GREAT STRIDES raises millions of dollars for CF r
 esearch and care programs each year! This is where we need your help!\
