Hi Everybody!

Thank you guys so much for uploading your images to dropbox! We have received a nice collection of images.

We have decided to give each of the kids 3 printed portraits as a thank you for their efforts.

In most way more than 3 images per kids were submittedhere are a few kids of whom we only have 1 or at most 2 only. Please could you look through these thumbnails below and check if you have any different photographs of them which we could use to print for them and if so upload them to the dropbox folder "Portraits for Printing":

Thank you so much for your time and effort! The kids will appreciate it! A LOT!

@All: We are preparing a note for you that will give you guidelines for the submission of the photos we took during the portrait workshops.

We will use them as part of giving you an after the shoot experience: to edit them, submit them, mount them and deliver them.

So hold up another day or so, and we will get the guidelines to you.

Thanks for your enthusiasm!

That's 100%. I would need to wait until after a pay day to print them anyways. :-) I didn't take any portraits as such, they wanted poses in the leaves and things. so candid playing photo's of the girls that asked so nicely. And mine are edited the way I wanted to edit (LOL).

Do you want the Jpegs? is there a dropbox available or should I take a CD to you guys?

Let me know when the other images are ready and I will gladly go take them over there then.

Thanks for the response!

@Mike: Big-up to you and all the volunteers too! You guys settled in nicely and we saw some lovely shots too yesterday. Oh what precious children!

@Candice: Aha! it sounds like the after-workshop session provided more fun things to do with the kids!

Its real nice of you to offer to run prints, but I'd like to ask you to hold on to that for now until we have the other portraits in too. If you take your prints around to them, it is probably going to create smiles for some and then sulks for those that will still be waiting for their pics.

We are going to request all portraits taken by attendees of both portrait workshops by the end of next week. And then if you'd like to, you can lead the team that takes all the portraits back after the editing workshop on 28 May.

Ok?

Myself, Juanita and Gabi stayed a while and we ended up being the models for Ciska and Melissa. They have photographers in the making, naturals behind the camera. I promised I would take more of the girls in the trees and the boys decided to come join us. I will be printing those and taking them there myself when I get a chance to print them early next week. I think the girls especially will be happy.

How can I get hold of them to arrange to drop off some images, any specific person I should contact? It was Melissa's birthday the other day and I think a fun photo will be a nice present!

And thanks again, it was awesome.

Thanks Stanley, Frank, Nicole & Jonty for a well organised, informative and inspiring workshop today.  And big thanks to our awesome models!  I'm sure some of them are going to be professional fashion models before too long.
